Rota wheels - plastic rings?

Hi all, just got some Rotas and rahter chuffed with them.

One question, they come with plastic rings but not sure what they are? I guess they are spacer / centering rings but seems odd that they would be plastic.

Do I need them?

I have PM'd Julian but I know he's a busy chap.

They're spigot rings and yes I would fit them if I were you. They make up the difference between the centre bore diameter of the wheel (73mm I think) and the diameter of the centre part of the hub (64.1mm), ensuring that the wheel is properly centered when you fit it.
