Scraping sound when braking at low speed

Can't figure this one out - all pads are wearing equally and not quickly, but I have a nasty "scrape scrape scrape" sound (i.e. not constant, but a 1-2-3-etc. sound that slows down as the car comes to a halt). Sounds like it's coming from the rear and is as loud in the car as outside (if not louder inside).

I've had the wheels in the air, spun them and applied the brake, but no noise. Any ideas what it could be :?:

That's what I was thinking too. I've had this before so I jet washed the brakes and that cured it.

Hope it's as simple as that, last time it was a stuck caliper! :cry:

Well, if some track action on Friday doesn't dislodge it, I'll start to worry... :wink:
