Im just wondering if there is any reason for not doing this? any problems with the extra grip with factory standard suspension? Since I can't source any 15's im thinking about doing this with 16's (for trackday use of course)

Any advice would be apreciated!

Cheers,
Damien

i believe Jonster only has a standard suspension set up when he runs with semi slicks on 16" and after haveing a couple laps as passenger with him i can assure it works  :D

Howdy,

Actually I've got Spoon progressive springs on standard shocks. They give a better road ride than standards, lower the car and do the business on the track.

I'd go for the Rota 16's like have in my signature (114.3 ET40). They are the same weight as the TD Pro Race 15's anyway. Rubber is a bit more expensive.

Check out the Camskill site for tyre prices :-

The Kumho R16 245 45's look good value. I don't know what compound they are though.

Cheers,

Jon
