Sensitive throttle : S90 76MM TB

Hi,

I am just wondering if there is any straightforward way to adjust the sensitivity of the throttle on a DC5? My motor has the 76mm S90 throttle body on it so it may be related to this but the car seems to be very sensitive in regards to the throttle being on/off. It can make it jerky when changing gears or taking off, particularly with the stiffer clutch.

Even at idle if I try to steadily increase revs to say 3k it can be difficult and it will just jump up to 3k. I hope this explains the issue. It isn't an overly big deal but it would make the driving of the car nicer if this was smoothed out.

Cheers in advance.

Hmmmm that's good to hear that i'm not the only one to have experienced this but not so good that it wasn't resolved. Did you ever have it looked at? My car is going in for a service and valve clearances at a Honda Specialist so hopefully they can sort this issue.

A friend of mine had one of these on his kswap dc2, had endless problems, removed it for oem and didnt have any more faults. Just get a better one, or oem.

The mechanism isn't sticking is it?
I'm not too sure to be honest......how would you check/resolve this?

Since I've seen a few people reporting the same issue with a larger TB (particularly one as large as 76mm) I am going to revert to a standard TB as I would prefer it to drive a bit smoother.

Would it be OK to stay with my standard induction setup/intake and just run a silicone reducer from the intake pipe (76mm) to the standard TB (63mm?)
