How much you guys paying for servicing? And where you going?

I ummed and arrghed about going to Honda but in the end I thought feck it - so I went to a local independant and gave him the service manual.pdf.

I supplied the oil and the filter and he charged me £52 inc VAT.

Result. 8)

Full inspection/lubrication/handbrake adjustment, wheel rotation, check stuff works (bulbs), check for leaks/cracks etc.

Full deal.

Dude, no-one pays £52 for a 15 minute oil change lol :p

The guy I use is actually an Audi specialist.

Depends on what oil they use - but 4.5 litres of good stuff is at least £30 and a filter for £8 brings it down to the £52 labour which is about 1 hours worth at the extorsionate rates they have - seems about right for a Honda dealer. If your in a warranty tie up I'd go with them and get the stamp in the book :D

£90 is a joke.

Do it yourself or find an independant.

i change my own oil regularly, but take it to honda every 12500miles for its full service and stamp in my book.

i dont find the prices too bad, esp as i supply oil, no air filter to change, spark plugs are fine for a good while yet, as i say i use semi synth 10-40 that i get at trade club price from v'hall dealer, and change the oil every 3k, it burns next to nothing of this stuff and i pay about £7 per 5ltr, its a s good as any other semi synth
