Skunk2 exhaust cam gear

Basically, is it worth it??!!

My car is at TGM atm getting the cam chain done. So as its all out is it worth putting one of these in too? I know the cast of the cams and profiles are very good so would these only be good for uprated cams? They are £205.

I have one sat in my shed, I'm going to purchase a set of skunk2 drop in cams and attach that to them to hopefully see some serious power increase!

I had my exhaust cam advanced slightly to create some overlap between intake/exhaust valves but this was on clockwise motion cams.
I could never get the low speed driveability smooth, it bucked quite a bit and i spent a lot of time trying to tweak the map.
We never came to a resolution but i put it down to the overlap created, which gained power but sacrificed some driveability.
Maybe it was map settings, i'll never know now.

Are you replacing the cams too? the cam gear is used in conjunction with skunk 2 cams
