slight knocking from front

Hi, ive noticed a knocking sound coming from the front of my car, possibly the drivers side but its only just started to develop so im not totally sure.

It mainly seems to do it when in slow moving traffic, say in 2nd gear.
When you start to accelerate theres a fairly quiet clunk noise,
it will sometimes do it when i gently apply the brakes also.

It sounds like its coming from the drivers side but ive not heard it enough to be 100% so i just want to know what i should be checking and whether theres any common issues. The car has covered 75k so i expect there to be some wear and tear bits that will want replacing anyway.

So would i be right in thinking it could be a mount, a worn bush or something in the steering or suspension?

Ive only had the back wheel off so far and noticed the bushes look like they are starting to perish so i may well get a full bush kit if these are possible to get?

Any advice/info will be helpful, cheers, Chris

Possibly a worn suspension bush if it's happening when applying the brake also makes me think it could be the pads moving in the caliper, might be worth a check to confirm.
