Hi, has anyone fitted one of these to their DC5?

I bought one and tryed to fit it today with no luck :(

...removed the OEM Bar ..the Spoon brackets fit in fine, however the Spoon bar is about 1/2 an inch too short and won't fit in securely :?

Part number on the box is: 74310-DC5-000

Help!

I had one, fitted perfectly, no problem at all.

Have you tried fitting the brace to the brackets before tightening the brackets down in the car?

Hi Ev's, no it was mainly tightening down the brackets and then putting in the bar.. its quite tough to get a good angle on the bracket bolts... but ill try again..

i have one of these fitted, it took me an age to get on. if i fitted the brackets first i couldnt get the bar on as the holes didnt line up  thought id been sold a dud at first but i assembled the thing then with a lot of effort me & my mate eventually got the thing bolted down. Its under a fair bit of tension but it will go on.

mo my rear bar is spoon, bought it off scrawnban, maybe he sold it me as he couldnt get it on.

It is a nightmare to fit but it the car feels a lot better for it. reduced a fair bit of understeer into corners.

I could give you hand if you like. ping is only an apprentice lol
