SS Braided hoses have the opposite effect. Very worthwhile mod.

I thought the idea of them was to replace the OEM Rubber ones that flexed under pressure. So why would you want to make your pedal feel more spongy :?:

no peter has misunderstood. Less spongy is how thye feel yes. :lol:

Gotta be honest, I can't feel any difference with my Goodridge s/s hoses fitted (OEM disc/pad combo).

It's all part of the mix though, when I upgrade the discs and pads I'm sure they will play their part.

TBH unlike lockwood i have to say my brakes feel very different now compared to how they were.

Much firmer, and seem to stop much better.

Bear in mind my old discs were WELL worn, and when the brakes were changed tom commented there was a LOT of crap in my old brake fluid, so wether the improvement is down to the hoses, or just the new discs/pads, decent bleed and expensive fluid i cant honestly say!

The hoses were cheap tho, so im glad i got them anyway!

Wow these prices are cheaper than disks and pads for my uprated GTi-6 breaks.

It looks like owing an integra isn't going to cost me much more overall maintenance wise. Lets hope they stay cheap like this until next feb

The Ferodo front pads sell for only £40+?

WTF? Here in Japan the stock pads sell for like ¥40000 and it was one of the reasons I went with the Mugen Type C pads up front as they went for like ¥26000 set.
