Starter motor problem

Hello, anyone changed there starter motor ? Is it a nightmare ? Looks like the manifold has to come out . I think this is what it is , struggle's to crank even with a charged battery then drain's it in seconds I've tried two battery one is only 4 weeks old , this is the first thing to go wrong in 3 years of ownership :)

from my understanding you can do it from underneath but its very fiddly as you cant see what you doing, other than that its intake manifold off and you should have all the room you need.

Got a second hand working starter motor for sale if you need one by the way?

Also mine had to be replaced, same problems as your having, took my mechanic about 4 hours I think
