Steering klunk

Afternoon,

Just spent an hour at my local garage trying to find this funky knocking noise my car has. It happens when apllying left lock after right lock has been applied and only when under load, i.e pulling away. Its quite a klunky noise which can be felt through the steering wheel and in the passenger foot well. The steering rack doesnt seem to be loose or causing it. It had an advisory of lower ball joint play on the drivers side in the mot but this seems to be more passenger side. The car is lowered 30mm on Eibach progressive lowering springs. Torque steers and follows cambers quite harshly not sure if this is linked. Recently had four wheel alignment.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Could be the anti-rollbar drop links

or

the lowering spring has moved out of its seat and klunks back in.

I had heard this before but on speaking to the mechanic he said it seems more like the steering column as you can really feel it through the steering wheel.

It wont be torque steer, unless you've got a turbo :xhaha2:

Tramlining yes, torque steer no!
As Cali says above, its very common with lowering springs. Mine's the same.
