Stiff Clutch

Over the last couple of weeks my clutch has been getting stiffer. The bite is still in the same place but the pedal requires a lot of work to press it down :? . It's not slipping at all, just heavy.

Your legs are getting weak! some squats should cure the problem

Maybe due for a clutch fluid change?

Nothing needed to tone my legs up mate, i've got my M3 for that one

I didn't realise the clutch fluid needed changing, i've never changed the clutch fluid before in any car i've had  . I'll get it booked in for a fluid change asap.

yep I would start with a clutch fluid change and if that doesn't solve your problem it could be a tired clutch release bearing

Hi mate, recently had a similar problem with my EK4! Heavy clutch, occasional juddering, not going into gear as well - Got the clutch replaced and it's amazing how light the pedal is! Have the basics checked out first though, it's never nice forking out for a new clutch :green:

How big a job is that to do? I don't trust anyone around here with gearbox/clutches so if it's a big job i'd probably get it towed to TGM.
Big job - basically a clutch change. TGM have got a much better price now on clutches ;)
