Stronger wheel nuts?

On my last track day the threads inside my standard Honda wheel nuts started to break, im guessing its to do with all the extra heat. Was wondering if anyonr else had this problem and how they solved it?

I want to avoid tuner nuts if possible and they need to fit standard wheels

Ended up buying a set of steel lug nuts which can only be used on track and away from salt etc from that 6two1 crowd. They need washers tonfit OEM wheels but I'm planning on changing mine so keeping them for that.

At My first 2 trackdays my wheel nuts came loose and started to wreck the threads inside but at the last one they were fine so not too sure what happened the first time round :S maybe not enough heat this time with it being quite cold
