Admiral are good i think, at least for me anyeay
21yrs old, 2ncb, 4 years driving, and a mystery claim of £2k against me. Paid £1600ish for the year I think it was
Terrible admin staff, but might be worth trying
I'm with admiral too.

I would say obviously shop around - not just with different companies but comparison sites too - when I got my insurance I found that the price quoted for the same company on different comparison sites differed massively for some reason. I think I found my best price through confused.com in the end, but quite often someone will ring you from the company with cheapest quote on the comparison website and offer an better price direct (or you can ring them to check). So it definitely pays to do as much looking around as possible.

I don't live with either of my parents, so neither of them actually get a chance to drive the car but I found adding them as named drivers (both have clean licences) to the insurance actually reduces the price big time too. Before I get an earfull - I am the registered owner/keeper of the vehicle!

I also went direct to the 'specialists' like sky, adrian flux etc to get a quote but they were way too pricey for me.

I'm 23, 2 years ncb and only been driving for 2.5 years.

Always helpful when someone in the company tells you something different to others! They didn't seem to have a problem with it when I spoke to them!

It would be a bit ironic if they wouldn't insure an imported car but have exported their call centre to another country!
