Fitted my oem springs back on my teg at the weekend but whoever fitted the front springs did not fit them back the way they came out does anyone know what direction this triangle/arrow goes ie front back outside?
top mount can only go one way but the top plate supporting the spring can twist
its the in the middle of the pic

ok, don't worry too much about the arrow,

the important bit is the lower spring platform,
-fit the spring so it is pushed right up against the stop on the lower platform
-look at the bottom or the rubber , you will see where the top end of the spring was previously
-align the strut as if it was bolted on to the hub when you put the top mount onto the rubber cap, you might need spring compressors to compress a little then put the nut on

if you dont get the alignment correct remove the strut , loosen the nut and rotate the top mount a little while leaving the spring up against the lower cup.

Getting this wrong is the major cause of the suspension clunking

its very easy really, just common sense.
