Swapping Wheels

The rears are pretty worn and fronts are good.

I want to swap the rear to the fronts and finish them off down to illegal tread. Is there any problems with swapping rear to fronts regarding balance etc?

Exactly how I have mine at the mo, newer tyres on the front with the older knackered ones on the back.....just be aware the front will grip like a mofo and the back will get real loose and scare you if you are not ready for it

Its not ideal but I am due to swap the rears when I get paid and I dont want the new tyres on the front as I am changing brands

In the dry there is not that much differnce IMHO

When i say swap - what i want to do is take the rear wheels off and put them on the front. Then I go to Silverstone and ware them down to minimum legal tread depth and then buy some new ones.

I am not sure if i need to stray away from RE040s - I am quite happy with them.
