What sort of mileage are on both cars?

You need to make sure the ayc diff on the evo is working fine as these can be expensive to repair and are known for going if they're not kept serviced

I would value a tidy, standard evo 7 at about 6k

It all depends on the value of each car. If the value is roughly the same and you prefer the evo then go for it.

My favourite car it's the evo 6, and I looked into getting an 8 before I bought the teg, but after seeing a few people swapping and then regretting it......we'll hmmmmm, tbh if someone offered I would seriously consider it, take it for a test drive and see.

Only thing that put me off in the end was drivability in the way I would use it, the teg is perfect for my short trip to work.
Because daily Racecar haha.

The only thing is it's silver so would get it wrapped a nice gunmetal grey or white

I would swap if the evo is good. Remember though majority of evos in Ireland probably didn't have the diff serviced / minded as it should have been

I seen that Evo on donedeal alright. Would p/x for a DC5.

I always had a craving for an Evo 7/8 before I got my teg, ended up getting a 424bhp skyline R33 GTST.

The maintenance on the Evo is mental. Needs a specialist to service and MUT tools. None in the south. I know a fella with a 9 and he drives his to the north to get it looked at.

Up to you but I'd keep the teg if it's clean and running fine. Evo can cause big trouble. Best bet is to drive her first and see.

No Evo specialists in the south? Not heard of RG Motorsport then?
