stolen at around 6:30, tbh pod is far from the safest place in the world, it is common to hear of cars being stolen from there, this time is a little different tho as it was on the maxxis stand on the show car side., but i expect it doesnt have locks or keys like most race cars etc

That was exactly my point the maxxis stand is massive and i'm sure it would have had people in and around it all day, really surprised someone managed to just get in it and drive it off..

it must be one of two things- joyriders/crackheads , or pros who will strip and ship abroad, the parts are pretty special and mostly custom made, trying to sell bits on would be difficult in the UK.

trouble is grov, it was actually yesterday not this morning as i was first told, just to rub salt in its Steve baggys birthday today as well (car owner) .

i am sure it will be in poland by now and stripped or in a container and on the way.

Its a racecar Raz, so no tracker, probably no keys or locks either. of course we are speculating a little as we dont know of the exact circumstances of how the actual theft occured.
i understand it made bbc london news at 10.

Great news on it being found, normally these sort of cars are stripped and gone within a few hours of going missing.

Yeah great news. I watched the news bit as well, 20 Litre fuel tank, bet they didn't get far lol. Must of been joyriders/dick heads and not pro's then?

Was just about to post about htis! Glad they managed to get it back, always someone who has to ruin these kidns of events for enthusiasts. At least it's not as bad as the FD2 who had sand put in his engine at a show!!
