Hi guys,

I fitted the tegiwa intake last night, checked this morning to make sure all was good and I noticed that the bonnet had hit the intake and left a mark on the airbox.

Is this usual?

Cheers

lots and lots and lots of foam tape required, renewed every couple of weeks.

Is this the carbon airbox (gruppe-m rep)? Fitted mine nearly a year ago and haven't had an issue?

Fitted mine 2 weeks ago, complete pain in the arse and the instructions are terrible so found the original Gruppe M ones and followed those.

Not had it rattle yet though (touch wood).

Only gripe I have with it at the moment is the carbon box sits painfully close to the head of the heatshield bolt, if I stick a protective pad on it it‘ll rub 😩

Hoping to sort a bolt out with a low profile head from a local fasteners to resolve that one.

Yeah fitting was a Ballache! Guess I'll have to put a pad to stop it damaging the airbox. Cheers lads
I used 2 furniture foot protection pads just where the box meets the strut brace, I might have got lucky though as the way I‘ve modified the scuttle means that it goes some way in securing the box in position too.
