Need to get a baffled sump fitted for some tracktime i have comming up in a few months. thought it would be a wise move as il be using semi slicks and will be quicker through the bends.

On a bit of a budget so was looking at the tegiwa sump baffle. anybody using this and can reccomend it? am i right in thinking its a spoon copy? a few of my mates are welders so fitting wont be an issue, but if anyone has any tips on fitting then that would be ideal. thanks

It is very similar to the spoon ;) It's also very easy to fit :)

Thanks, Matt

well yes, but im glad tegiwa have done one similar to spoons. all it is is a piece of aluminium so not bothered who makes it to be honest. i think with spoon you have to buy the actual sump with the baffle already bolted on which is over £400.

welded in. not bolted. imo you want the least amount of nuts and bolts etc in there .

TGM is also the same as spoon but like the best baffled sumps it too is welded.
