Hi guys!

Ok, here is what I want to ask :) Me and my bro have DC5's.

Me ----------------------My bro
2002 (75k km) blue--------2004 (57k km) black

Mods ---------------------Mods
AEM CAI------------------ AEM CAI
Mugen N1 ECU--------------Stock ECU
Stock exhaust system---------Toda header, BC spec 3 exhaust
Stock clutch/flywheel --------- Exedy clutch and ACT flywheel
Stock coilovers----------------stock coilovers with lowered down springs
Pirelli Dragon ---------------Yokohama Advance

Haven't done any dyno-------- Dyno showed 204 whp in stock mode (have the dyno chart if interested)

Well this is all mods we have.
The question now:) In your opinion witch one should be faster?
Before anyone say go and race, we have done, the results Ill tell u later.

Thx for looking

Well TBH, age and mileage will make little difference as it will depend on how they have been servicerd, driven etc. One might be a stronger engine than the other.

Clutch, flywheel and springs will not make much difference either as oem flywheel is already lightened and lowered springs is more to enhance looks and minimal difference in handling.

So Basically it's the Mugen ECU v header and exhaust.

IMO you will get more gains from the ECU than header and exhaust as oem versions of these are very good so I'll plump for the 2002 blue DC5.

Anyway, we all know blue is the fastest colour ;)

=D>

We had race on 2nd gear fom 6k rpm.
IMO if we started on low rpms the result would be different.
Any way lets see more opinons.

the black one due to the exhaust mods giving higher peak power in vtec.

...but is probably running lean due to the breathing mods and a stock ecu.

Do you have uprated valve springs on yours due to running Mugen N1 ECU?
