Looks a bit "golf" to me. Like the old Blaupunkt radios. Much prefer the Jap efforts.

Yep, or like the Becker units - they have a finish that blends with car fascias, unlike the shiny silver Jap style ones with lots of lights and buttons - personally I'll go for discreet/stock look over "steal me now" any day but each to their own

You mean the ones where you can detach the fascia rendering the Jap radio useless? Provided of course that the owner doesn't leave it in the glovebox :lol:

Kinda...though there aren't many double DINs with detachable fascia, Jap or Euro.
