Timing belt service ?

Just wondered when the BIG service is due on these - and if its a huge job (engine out) or not.
What mileage etc etc.

Is there a schedule anywhere I could see what is due on each service, or is it exactly the same as the CTR (I don't even know that) !! ?

Timing belt is every 50,000 miles

Gonzo, i'm I missing something here matey? The K20 engines use a timing chain, you don't generally need to replace these.

Good point! It is a chain, but in the CTR service book I have in front of me (apart from saying belt!!) it says 50,000miles or 60 months! :?

Very likely inspection and/or tensioning interval.
Shouldn't need to change it unless it snaps!

So the DC5 engine has a chain ??

That means there is no Big services ???

What about plugs ?

Replace timing belt Except models with timing chains!!!!

Iridium/Platinum plugs every 75,000miles
