Hi

I thought ill start my own thread on this.

My alarm keeps going off for the past 4 days i have had the car. Its been every evening around 8-12pm and its becoming a nuisance.

It goes off 3-4 times one after another.

Ive looked for the main unit as someone pointed out that you can change the sensitivity of the sensors. But after a search around today, i have looked behind the passenger compartment and then found a Viper unit underneath the drivers dash by the fusebox.

This viper unit is attached on the right side on the front driver side wing.

My key fob is a toad fob.

So could it be that the toad fob is for the central locking/immobiliser and the alarm is Viper?

im so confused now . :S

ill post a pic up later of what i found.

thanks

follow the led wire. that will lead to the right alarm.

some alarms are under the handbrake/gear stick area

Found the main unit it was behind the center console area. thanks emmsy and nelly for that suggestion!

..

On the side of the main unit, does this white colored screw change the sensitivity of the alarm? It doesnt say anything on it or have any sort of (+) (-) arrows though. Is this what they call the potentiometer?
