Anyone know what kinda spondoolucks these will cost? Anyone actually fitted another other make of ITB's?? If so, what's the gains like? I've been told that mid-range is an all-new experience and top end BHP might be a bit more. :?:

They're not released yet but I would guess at £3k-ish. There's a guy on the CTR forum just had an ITB conversion done at CPL:

Alternative is to wait for the IPS inlet manifold to launch as that's made excellent gains in testing and is less hassle/cost

right if they are 3k sterling then TODA can keep them!

i've never heard of "IPS" - what is it an acronym for? do they have a website?

cheers for the info Evs!

ITB's make more mid range power / torque.... but are difficult to setup

The people that are going to make my engine.. have tested both single tb with ITB's and found the single TB with custom inlet / plenum made very close to the same power as their own ITB's... however, they did say the single TB would have been more drivable.

That was the conclusion IPS got to with testing that manifold, IIRC it's something to do with measuring the vacuum and feeding a reliable signal to the ECU. There's more info elsewhere on the k20a.org site.
