As per title - I'm getting a horrid creaking/crunching sound when going to and from full or near full left steering lock. Also getting some knocking sound when going over bumps.
Took it to my regular garage who diagnosed it as the passenger side top mount. Now the only problem is when I look for a DC5 'top mount' it seems the whole thing is made up of several parts? I'm completely lost as to what part I actually need to replace and I wasn't advised exactly what part of the mount has failed..
I could be talking complete crap as I've no clue really how many parts make up a top mount or how they all sit together. Any advice on what I need to be replacing as all I've got to go on is 'you need to replace both top mounts as they should be done in pairs'
