Well they get a mixed review but since the UK winter set in i have been mostly wishing id got something else.

After 8000 miles the stiffened sidewalls are about as stiff as a 85 year old's erection and thus causing some serious tramlining and some skitish behaviour when accelerating around corners.

Add that to the fact that i can pretty much wheelspin it from 2k revs up in the wet and i wont be purchasing them again.

I did read the reviews of others having similar issues but also saw how some were impressed - and i was too after using them on the ATR but different car different requirements and unfortunately they dont perform for me

its a fWD car with 220+ HP..any tire will spin in wet with BIG gas in low gears.

TOYOs are crap tho imo..sloppy

i must say that i think they are good in the wet cant comment on the dry

yet as its not been dry to try. got them for 76 quid each fitted and so far

they are 1 of the better tyres i have used in the wet,it grips in the wet in

first and 2nd now,it didnt before with the poor tyres that were on it. still

have to get tyres for the standard wheels i got from you dan,the plan was

to have them on for the winter! bit late now!

i think any soft sidewalled tire grips ok in the wet on accel as a bit of slack to soften the response

I've been happy with my T1-Rs. They served me well at Combe over the weekend. I wouldn't use them on the track on a host/summer day though. Same goes for F1's too. In the winter/wet they are fine and good on the roads all year round.

just fitted T1R's very happy so far!

Had T1S's on my DC2 and there were bald as a coot after 6k and the sidewalls were far too soft!

Had some Toyo's up to a week ago, same behaviour as Jimmy.
Replaced with some Continentals (can't remember the model) - like glue now 8)
