Track Rod Ends - Which ones?

Hi Guys,

Just prepping the car for an MOT and track rod ends need changing as rubber bushes are nearly shot.
Where is the best place to get them from?

Have seen Hardrace do a pair for £50, or Tegiwa do OEM for £50 each.

Are there any other options/upgraded ones worth looking at? Such as Inverted?
Ideally want to fit the best possible ones that will stand up to trackdays etc.

Cheers,

T

Are you sure? Also states "Sold singularly"

Tgm do inverted rod ends if that's what your interested in
Thanks - What are the benefits of running inverted rods?
I ideally just want to not have to replace them again for as long as possible.

Think it's just if your car is lowered makes the steering arms straight to stop unwanted tension and it a rose joint so stop earing as quick

Oh yeah never saw that lol they sent me a pair anyway so i guess i got one for free

could always pm or phone them to clear it up xthumbup
Called them up and confirmed it is for a single end, not a pair.
Managed to get some from Area Motorsport for the same price for a pair though.

Did speak with TGM who were very helpful.
They can supply the inverted ends, but they are generally made to order as they don't keep many in stock, and aren't cheap.

hmm.. Did you received them yet? are they OEM indeed?
that's exactly half the price of tegiwa and its kind of weird.
Not as of yet, so will see – I can't see them advertising them as OEM if they aren't though.

I hope not!
All the wording suggests plural, so I'll be royally Pee'd off if they're not a pair, I need them ASAP for upcoming MOT.

Will update the thread once I get them.

I ordered from area motorsport and they are sold singular. £96 for a pair. Expensive but worth paying for genuine, to think they've lasted this long already on a 51 plate..

Area kindly emailed me yesterday to say they were putting them in the post for next day, but that they were actually hard race ones, and it was a listing error but the price is indeed for a pair.

Arrived today and look high quality... Easily as good as OEM :xgrin:

The ones i had from area were genuine. I looked into hardrace on their own website but heard of a few bad experiences on here where they wore out after a year so decided to go genuine Honda as you can't go wrong. May have just been a bad batch, let us know how you get on with them!
