Trackdays with car manufacturers

Thinking about dfoing the Vauxhall 'sponsored' day at Bedford on the 25th but i know a few people here went to the Renault (i think), do you get to drive the cars or is it just they take you out and show you what you can do in them?

I did a CLIO day when i had my CUP and i drove all of it except for a ride i got in a spyder race car and a drive in the CUP racers on another circuit.

To be honest was the most boring track day ive had. Imagine 30 clio sports all with same acceleration and lateral grip on a track..your behind the same guy for 30 bloody laps!

Hard to get past on straights as have same power, and same on corners.

Ok odd passing did happen and it was still a track day but in my chronological order its last for fun.

Cant beat all different cars at different levels having a play
