TURNING OFF A/C WHEN ON DEFROST??

Does anyone know how to turn the air con off because on mine it automatically comes on when i turn the knob to heat the front windscreen?? Its really doing my head in :evil: especially these past few mornings when ive turned it full heat on and air con comes on as well :?: :?: :cry:

two ways mate

firstly, press the aircon button and turn it off manually

secondly, there is a way to program it so that it doesnt come on when you select the windscrenn, try doing a search to find the how to, its also on the ctr site as its the same on them too :wink:

it comes on because the a/c provides drier air than just the fan so it is more effective, if you have the temp dial on hot then hot air wil still come through just from the a/c. heaps of cars do this by the way
