Tyre sizes for 8" wheels.

Hi guys,

In the process of receiving a new set of wheels and was thinking of potentially getting 235s for the front and 225s for the back rather than 225s all round. Just curious as to peoples opinions on which to go for and why?

I went for the RE070's 225/45/17 all round.
It's a good job I did as they only just fit with standard arches.
How people manage to squeeze anything bigger in amazes me!

Thinking about it, With the offsets you'll have, pushing to 235 on the front you may be right on the verge of scrubbing or catching your arch liner on on full lock.

8J ET48 here, 225/45R17 on Coilovers.

Zero scrubbing, even on track.

+37 offset on mine, 8j all round with 225/45 RE070's, zero rubbing on bumpy roads and track.
