Will this take away from the look of the alloy? Will it cover up the lip on the alloy and make it look stupid ?
Its only a slight lip to make the sidewall less flush with the alloy. The pic below shows it. Dont think its that extreme on a 215

I've had my F1s on for about 600 miles now, and have to say I'm very pleased with them! Went with 215/45/17 91Y XL for mine. Much more confident in the wet than the Pirelli PZero Neros they replaced!

Got 225 rainsport 3's on my DC5, car is used for daily road driving and they are brilliant. Can't fault them at all. Can just about get them to spin into second with a fast change even in greasy conditions. Quality rubber for the price.

Downside is hard cornering gives more than other tyres due to the super soft sidewalls.
