Tyres on standard dc5 rims

Guys / girls... What tyres sizes are you running on you oem wheels?

I got a set tonight and just wondering if ill be able to use the Yokohamas I have currently on the Rotas.

What size are the yokos?

215/45 & 225/45 fit fine.

I use 215/45/17 as standard size. Had 215/40 when i bought the car and was awful

Just checked there now, currently on the rotas they are 215/40 Yokohamas.

Looking at the Bridgestone potenzas ya see but they only come in 225 ?! Would they fit then?!?!?!

What's the benefit of running 225 over 215 on stated OEM wheels?

Correct me if im wrong but it means more tyre options, occasionally tyres can be cheaper, larger contact patch = more grip, wider track = better handling, slightly more compliance in the tyre meaning slightly better ride quality, downside is speedo wont read as accurately and acceleration is slightly less
