URGENT help req RE fog light

My MOT runs out on 22nd and tax ends 31st Aug. Can't get tax as MOT needs to be valid when it starts.

I was gonna take it for MOT today so did a few checks to ensure wouldn't fail on anything stupid.

I found the fog light was kaput. Took it apart and it's corroded to bits.

Model is Jokon 51986 seen at bottom of this page:

Went to motor factors who tried to sell me this:

No thanx. Would like to just do straight swap if possible plus that one is ugly.


Anyone know where I can get the same one or same shape one that will fit correctly ASAP?

Think I may have found one on E-bay but total is £17.

Just waiting for seller to reply to question. Anyone know where to get one cheaper or a similar one that would fit?

Slightly cheaper.

Managed to get tax sorted thankfully. Just went to a diff post office and they didn't check the MOT too thouroughly.

Still need to get it done ASAP tho.

why dont you just rewire it to the rear lights instead of havin the ugly red light?

Nipped to a garage and they mentioned doing that. To be honest was just looking for the quickest fix and a direct replacement seemed the most obvious.

How easy is it to rewire it into the rear lights? If I couldn't do it what would the cost be roughly for someone else to?

tbh mate, i'm not sure as 200bhp do this to all the cars they sale.. so thats why my one has it.

any1 care to share some info? i'm guessin its cheap to do aswell..
