Want to give the stock airbox a helping hand......

Decided I want to keep my stock airbox, i've got the spoon drop-in in it.

Insurance is a pita so I'm decided I want to buy one of those thingmajigs that re-directs the air to the stock airbox. Sorry for the crap explanation but i think 5zigen do an intake piece and some other company do one too.

Anyway, anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks in advance gentlemen.

Hi mate

I'm waiting on the Zigen air intake at the moment, and just heard that it's hopefully going to get it delivered next week :D Hqave heard good things, plus there is no obvious signs from the outside that your running it either, as it fits quite nicely behind the existing grill.

Simon (T666YPR) is running with the Zigen too, and I'm sure there are one or two others on here to help you out.

I'm getting mine from Dixon, (ProRacer). It's taken a while to get here, ordered it in mid-april, but Zigen were out of stock and had to make it from new, so not surprised at the delay.

Cool, that'll do for me nicely - has someone got Dixon's tel number or email?

Thankyou kindly.

I'll call him this afternoon :)

As for it coming in bits - i've recently built up a warbdrobe and a bookshelf from Ikea - a massive achievement if i say so myself, tbh if I can do that I can do anything.

Dobber's running around with my 5Zigen now I have the Injen - I only changed when I chopped my airbox with the Hondata mod and lost power.

Franz (ps2london) also has the 5Zigen.

I got mine for approx £255 delivered,from www.takakaira.com

As always price depends on exchange rate and if you order other small items.

Fitting is easy to understand but is quite fiddly connecting the C/F box to the car,the grille panel is no problem 8)

Its really easy to fit.

Whip off the front bumper and screw on the carbon ducting.
remove battery so to allow room to put on the scoop.
Fit scoop and replace battery

As simple as that!

Did mine in about an hour.

Mike....that was just plain nasty  :D

Although the reason I had to wait was that Zigen were out of stock themselves (as well as the suppliers) so had to make new from scratch, so not too bothered about the wait :D

If you find any nice extras though....sure you'll think of us here
