Guys
I got the above head unit cheap second hand ( I think its an old model ) anyway, its the 7" flip out screen dvd player. I have just fitted it and it sounds fine and the screen ejects however it touches the heater controlls and retracts straight away.
1st question... Other than pulling the unit right out so it doesn't hit the controls is there away to turn off the auto retract mechanism ?
2nd question... I thought that when the screen was out it would have displayed the radio station, however the screen is just black. I know the screen works as when i press the DVD button I get the on screen DVD menu.
As you can guess it didn't come with a manual :roll:
Just hoping someone has had one of these in the past or current.
