What is this device on my car?

I've bought a recent import DC5 and it has this stuck to the windscreen, any ideas what this is? Has a wire which goes off into the headlining.

Alarm aerial possibly.. does it have ab aftermarket alarm

It does seem to have had an aftermarket alarm at some point, has a siren under the bonnet but I'm not sure it's working.

Could also be for the toll booths in Japan...mine has Ariel stickers all across the top of my windscreen. It was linked to a device in the footwell, kind of like a mini card reader. They would load it with a prepaid card, and they could then drive the car towards a toll and the barriers would open. . Pretty nifty. Search for a box of some sort in the footwells, you may find something linked to it. Or follow the cables.

I also have what looks like aerial stickers on both sides of the windscreen, four in total!
