I am looking at ordering some new enkei rpf1's
Have 3 choices in sizes. Dont plan to roll arches etc as it easier for dirt to stay on the lip and rot away the rear 1/4.
Plan to use my currant tyres - 215/45/17.

17x8 et45 - would prefer this size as my colour is in stock.
17x7.5 et48
17x7 et45

Rims in black I take it? I was at one point looking at the 17x8 et45 as a set of dedicated wheels for running semi-slicks :)

The 8's will look nicer IMO and will of course give you more grip, but the ideal minimum tyre width is 225. 215's will still work and should help if there are any clearance issues at the rear.

If it were me it would be a toss up between the first two, 17x7.5 et48 is a definite fit. 17x7 et45 can FOAD when you have the other sizes available.

Yeah in black lol. was thinking of the 17x7.5 et48 as it would defo fit but i would prefer 17x8 et45 myself.
My friend brian has 17x8 et48 on his with no issues and 225 tyres.
Reason for 215 tyres as my semis have only covered 1000 miles if that so dont want to sell them for pennys when i can use them.

I love rpf1's but i think in 17" they look to small because of the design of them. Id go for the 8's though.

Hmmmmm. My friend Brian has 17x8 et48 with 225's fitted with no rubbing Nd as far as I know no arch work either.
Think am going for the 8's with et45. Will get my rear arch lip cut as I don't like rolled arches as they just hold dirt and you can't clean them. Will my 215's fit with stretch?

Am lowered on coliovers. The rear arch is just above the tyre and the front is on about on par with the tyre

225 on an 8 x et45 is fine, close as you say Si but fine.

8's ALL DAY LONG, wider the better :)

I've got 205/45 on 17x7.5 +40
Mines is pretty similar to the height of yours
I'd go for the 8s

get the 17x7 idea in the bin.
