Whats the difference??

I know this is probably a stupid question but apart from the obvious (interior spec and exterior spec) what is the difference between a type r dc5 and a standard 2.0 vtec one.

What horsepower is the standard version one?

I know that all the above is different, what im looking for is the bhp and the other non obvious things, as i cant find it out anywer, nobody seems to know. there is a few of these non type r's on the road these days.

There is no contest with the type r dc5. There is a fella from here who has the non type r one

as far as i am aware there are none here, esp pre facelifts.

bodyshell will be the same
pretty much everything else will be different, it will be the same as the RSX in the US, check out RSx club site.
diff interior (headliner might be the same)
diff engine &box
Diff suspension
Diff brakes
diff wheels
lastly different colour there is only one true type r colour.... Championship White

Im from donegal in ireland!! and there is one here pre facelift, the car in the pics above is in ireland aswell.

And yes your right about only one true type r colour.. cant beat the CW

Yeah there a few of these floating around Ireland alright but they are completely different underneath compared to the Type R.

Lighten Flywheel
Stronger Internals
Different Header
Different CAMs
Different ECU
Stronger valves
Better flowing head

And I could go on
