I'm going to be replacing the discs and pads on the front and fiiting some braided lines pretty soon. I've already got new oem discs from Dave J and i'm waiting on some Z pads from Dixel with some Hel lines.

I have a trade card for Halfords so i can get fluid there pretty cheap, they have 4 dot and 5.1. Which one of these would be best or would i be better spending a bit more and going for something different? I've got no plans for track days at the moment but could be tempted in the future

Thanks for your help :)

i;m using motul rbf600 too.

it's not really important as long as u take minimum dot 4.1.
dot 5.1 will can handle higher temperature, so if u do trackdays u need 5.1
for daily driving 4.1 is enough

Just thought I'd bump this.. are people still using RBF 600 or are there other alternatives?

I've always just used Halfords dot 5.1, never had a problem. Even pretty much melted my Type Z's on my DC2 and never had any fluid problems

RBF 600 here too.

I used two bottles for a complete change but bought another for a re-bleed.

I've switched to ATE super blue as it has very similar wet and dry boiling points to the motul 600 but is £15 for 1 litre compared to RBF 600 being around £15 for the 500ml.

It's been adequate for me on track so will be no problem on the road.
