who can cut a blank honda key

Hi,
I am looking to get a spare key cut for my dc5 as i do not have one.
I can get hold of a genuine honda key but i am struggling to find anyone who can cut it?
Any ideas??

I am having the same problem. Everyone I try, say that they can't do it.

Spent £100 on 2 blank keys and both cuts were rubbish and never worked. Ended up having just the one key

my local honda dealer did it out the back, any decent key cutter should be able to do it, all you need is the blank from a CRV about £25 from honda.
this only applies to pre facelift as they dont ave the transponder in the key. for facelift you need to speak to Dave Johnson at Steels honda who can order one from your vin.

I got my spare key, bought and cut for £9 odd at thompsons/ timpsons, (whichever one it is I can never remember). Was in my local sainsburys. Its just a blank, black face with a H on it, they suplied it and cut it. Had to be ordered in but for that price as a spare I cant complain.

I got mine via 200BHP Cars, (Andy)

They are now called JM-Imports, I gave him the key number and got an original DC5 key cut, superb job, and OEM from Japan
