Will this fit Dc5 ok? 18x7.5j Et44Tyres : 215/40/18

I'm thinking of buying a set of wheels from the civic forum not sure if this offset will be ok to fit on Dc5 anyone can help?

Yep will fit fine as long as the spoke pattern clears the Brembo's.

I run 17 x 7.5 ET45, that 1mm of extra poke should be ok.

Standard suspension will be fine, aftermarket will be fine providing you are not lowered more than 20mm.
The smaller tread will help as well. Also I have some camber on mine so they tuck in under load.

I have 17 x 8 ET45, should be no issues so long as the tyres aren't overly large or wide. I only had minor rubbing on the rear when going over bumps but i have 225 45 tyres so bigger than OEM and lowered on Spoon springs.
