I removed my Gathers CD/MD/NAV/TV headunit today to make way for something more UK friendly. There were some surprising connectors back there that I would like to get identified:
1. The usual FM type aerial lead seems to have an extension added to it with a silver box and a power supply. I this some kind of aerial booster? I don't think it can be a band expander cos I get f-all in the way of stations.
2. The headunit had a 3.5mm jack plug in the back going somewhere. Now there has always been a small microphone thingy next to the steering column. I was never sure if it was part of the alarm system. Now i'm thinking it is for voice control of the Nav system?
3. The DIN connector with power/speakers etc is fairly easy to identify on the right. I don't know what the multi-plug on the left is, and I want to know which of the others is the TV aerial cos I may need that for what I am buying.
