"Wrrrr" noise from brakes after 10 miles

Hi all,

I've started noticing just as I get close to work, every so often when I lightly brake I get this horrible "wrrrrrr" noise from what sounds like the rear drivers side brake.
  • Doesn't happen under heavy braking
  • Only happens after a bit of mileage

Car is going into the body shop tomorrow for a few weeks so not really in any rush to fix but wanna buy any parts now that I'll need for when I get the car back.

Any ideas?

When you get to work, put your hand on the centre cap of the wheel you think it's coming from. If it's hot then it's either a bearing or the brake is binding. Drive the car normally though. No excessive braking or you will get a false reading. Check the rest too so that you have a good idea if that one is the problem.

Good news is all wheels are cold so means I don't have to go back to JM and complain about the bearings.
