My battery has given up the ghost so time for a new one. Does every recommend sticking with the OEM https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/honda-shop/genuine-honda-integra-type-r-dc5-battery-2001/ Or is everyone running an aftermarket one?

Unfortunatly I've found a leak that has soaked the passenger front carpet and footwell, I believe it may be coming from the scuttle panel area and running down the front left footwell area, have already removed the carpet and passenger seat and that seems to be were it's coming from. Had a look...

I'll post up some pics when it arrives and let you know what I think. Fingers crossed it will resolve the issue.

You now have me thinking about just going with a replica, like you say it's just metal. I only need the front one, do you think this will clear my Mugen air-box ok on my facelift DC5...

Thanks John, I have removed my stock one this morning. I'm guessing a Mugen one isn't cheap?

That seems like loads of clearance, any idea if that fits a facelift DC5 though?

I'll do that or remove the standard strut brace for now, either way it's going to damage the air-box over time so I need a permanent solution asap really.

Evening, just had my Mugen induction kit fitted to my facelift DC5 and when accelerating the air-box is hitting the strut brace, it's a pretty horrendous noise even when accelerating gently. Can anyone recommend a strut brace for my facelift DC5 that will clear the air-box and resolve the problem?

Hi, can anyone recommend where to order a new badge for the front grill, my current one has faded pretty bad, its the Type R silver and Red badge that sit's in the front grill, I'm not sure if it's a stick on type or bolt on from behind the grill. Any ideas?

I'll have a think further on the carpet front. How much was a full respray Carl, assuming it was just the outside you had done?
