Hope someone can share some light here, i own an '06 dc5-s and the 6-speed box failed.
im curently getting the cash together to re-build it and have put an older 5-speed box to it (dc5 tear drop head/tail lights) for cost reasons so i have a car to drive....
doing the box swap i broke the knock sensor and put an engine light on, put it on the computer and had 2 codes
-knock sensor
-speedo sensor?
replaced the knock sensor disconected then re-conected the battery and drove for a few mins then engine light popped up again.
now the 5-speed box is different, im getting no speedo and therefor no v-tec.
has anyone re-wired one or put an adapter to it, what options do i have?
