Evening guys,
Well, as the title states, I've just driven my first DC5! See it here:
http://www.twwhiteandsons.co.uk/stock.php?stock_id=600
It was impressive, but to be honest, I knew what to expect anyway, having had the VTEC kick-in-the-arse before. I also expected it to be a hard ride and crashy over our useless roads, but my God, it was REALLY crashy! I'm not sure how much that's to do with the 18"ers that were on in or the fact that it's pretty low. I think the suspension is adjustable but will have to see - it's certainly not standard.
Anyway, the other thing was the torque steer. It was manic! Didn't expect a wrestle like that.
The car itself is spotless, in really good nick with perfect black interior. But it should be for the far side of £20k! Oh, and it's not a C-pack but does have the tints. In it's favour, the wheels are gorgeous! (Did have 2 keys as well! He he!)
Well, I was impressed but I think it's very overpriced. I'd be happy for your opinons. The garage specialises in 350Z'z and RX8's and had some mental ones of them, but I'm not sure they know too much about the Teg's, and I certainly knew more than the guy there as I was explaining about the C-pack. Another plus point is that the price includes a comprehensive 3 year warrentee which it good to have.
What are your thoughts chaps/chapesses?
