Had my car for a couple of months now. I got it from a previous forum member. Poor car hadn't been treated the best. I've been spending the past few months trying to repair all the shawdy work that had been done. Just looking to get some ideas on making it look a little better now😏 Also would like to meet some new folks! X

Welcome mate!

Fix any issues first and foremost, get it detailed if you get the time and maybe some decent tyres and pads and enjoy it.

Welcome. I've fixed mine up as well, it's quite addictive. Any more details on the car? Mine was in a sorry state!

I bought it from a lad on here who hadn't moved it in like 3 years due to a ban and stuff.

I have a thread in the Gallery if you want a look.

Can't say I know yours but well done for taking something on.

Welcome mate :) Glad you're enjoying it

That car does look familiar? Wasn't there a guy who was wrapping it to promote his company on this forum? Had a rear mugen lip too and a red beaks bar?

Yeah, I will have a wee look later Chris🙃

Thanks Reggie! Yeah, that's the car. The guy seemed genuine at the tim, little did I know what a cowboy he really is. I had to get a Honda specialist to rewire the car. Michael hadn't even connected the fans up, the car was smoking when sitting stationary.
Anywayssss, ive got it all sorted now😊

I bought it for pretty much track use only, so it'll never win any awards at stands... not that it'll ever be on one apart from JAE.

Welcome!

Plenty of info on this forum. Lots of things have been covered so have a search around.

I used to have a DC5 but I'm now waiting on a black FD2.

Based in Bristol area so a bit far away for a small meet! Lol

The previous owner didn't have it for long and used as a wrapping project; are you keeping the wrap on?

I had a wee look Chris, good track car😊

Thanks Adam for the links, very useful!

I got the car and found that the blowers weren't working (was told it was just a fuse). I then found the CD player being intermittent, then discovered the fans not working. I needed it all rewired. The guy that rewired it found random wires that didn't even work and the battery wasn't in properly.
After being wrapped, I don't think the car was put back together very well. The bumper was hardly fixed on, the door handles are temperamental. The drivers window needs fixed back on its runner.
That was the things I wasn't told about😕

I do like my car in white but I think I might leave the wrap on. It makes it a little different.
The grey is what attracted me tbh. I like to be different😝
