Welcome Alex

Your car looks great (defo choose the right colour combo!) sorry to see your ep3 that way, looked like a stunning ctr!

I also imported through Torque GT 18 monthes ago and still use them for work/servicing as I only live 15 mins from them. I'm pretty sure I saw your car when I was up there last, I remember the little mugen lip on the spoiler and the black mirrors (a mod which I'm thinking of doing myself).

I'm currently based just outside Chippenham at MOD Lyneham Mon-Fri so we'll definitely have to arrange a meet here at somepoint

Enjoy the forum mate, it's got some fantastic guides and some people with lots of knowledge and advice

Thanks, i was defiantly always looking for the white/red combo. My favourite.

Wouldnt surprise me if you did, there was quite a few championship white down there when i collected mine. There car park has to be one of the best I've ever seen with the selection of cars they have there at any given time! I personally, have never seen the black mirrors on a white DC5, and think it suits the car well. Defiantly worth looking at doing, previous owner on mine sprayed them not just black but honda nighthawk black, which was a nice touch!

Yeah im not far from MOD lyneham at all mate, defiantly should arrange a meet at some point! I may of seen you on the back roads round there i think, you havnt got a championship white with a spoon sun strip have you?

Yea, I had the same ideas with the white/red combo. I was tempted by blue and black but kept getting tempted back to the obvious choice and knew I'd regret it if I saw one!

Torque GT is a brilliant place to go, as you say, there's always a lot of white dc5s there, again as its the standard choice for a type r. I'm back there again in 2 weeks to get some work done.

Yes, that was me in the white Teg with the Spoon sunstrip! It's since received a carbon bonnet too!

Don't listen to comparison sites cos our imported cars are usually not on the list of vehicles. On DVLA mine comes up as a DC5 R but on comparison sites it comes up as a 2.0 accord (using reg plate)

You need of make double sure your insurer knows exactly what car they're covering and that it's an imported 2.0 Integra Type R DC5. Best way to do that is to contact a specialist such as Greenlight or Brentacre Etc.
I know, I went with Paceward who insure SVA's own cars. But thanks though! I know as soon as I committed I need to find specialist brokers for my Teggy!

Sorry for the late reply - Car looks awesome. Hope your enjoying it!

What are the small lights either side of the number plate? Are they aftermarket fog lights?

The little lights are PIAA day time running lights, I dont mind them, it was installed quite nicely by the previous owner.

Hey Alex,

I work in Kington Langley, but live in Trowbridge, so not far from you at all!

Don't have my teg anymore though, sold it back in June and have a grey FK2 instead now :) , I'll keep an eye out though and give you a thumbs up if I see ya :)

Hey Ash,

My parents house is in Kington Langley, so no doubt likely to see you at some point when visiting them! Small village mind... where do you work there?

Went for a test drive of the FK2 and what a machine that is! Totally different from Type-R's as we know them, but i think there great cars. Look great, best colour the grey too! Bet you're no doubt enjoying it. :xgrin:
