Oops, name edited.

Not sure I'll need a new crank, just rods and pistons I hope. The head will be re-worked with valves and cams and new injectors. Maybe an increase in RPM to 9k so keeping it well within the stock oil pump limits. Whilst it's all out, it'll end up getting new chain and tensioner as well, so probably already mortgage territory anyhow :/
